Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with Kanto Notes. If you're not, we'll refund you — no arguments, no forms, no "explain yourself" survey.

14-day money-back guarantee

Any paid Kanto Notes plan (Pro monthly, Pro annual, or Team) is eligible for a full refund if you request it within 14 days of your first payment for that plan. This applies to first-time paid subscribers only.

Renewals

Renewals (monthly or annual) are non-refundable once processed. You can cancel at any time from your account settings to prevent future renewals — you'll keep paid access until the end of the current billing period, then automatically move to the Free tier. Your notes stay with you.

Annual plans

Annual plans are refundable within the same 14-day window. After 14 days, annual plans are non-refundable but remain fully usable until the end of the paid term. We do not pro-rate annual plans mid-term.

How to request a refund

Email support@kantonotes.com from the email address on your account. Include your order/receipt ID from Paddle (it's on the receipt they sent you). We aim to respond within one business day.

How long refunds take

Once approved, refunds are issued through Paddle — our payment processor and merchant of record. Funds typically arrive back on your card within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. The exact timing is set by your card issuer, not by us.

What happens to my data?

Refunds do not delete your account. Your notes stay intact and you can keep using the Free tier. If you want a full account deletion, request one from Contact or your account settings — see the Privacy Policy for how deletion works.

Chargebacks

Please email us before initiating a chargeback — we can almost always resolve issues faster with a direct refund. Chargebacks may result in account suspension while we work with Paddle to resolve them.
